What is MyConnectivity?
MyConnectivity is an economic interest group (E.I.G.), created in 2021, to accelerate and improve the connectivity of private households and businesses in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
MyConnectivity G.I.E.
MyConnectivity G.I.E. aims to support the access to high performance connectivity for all in the context of the 5G and ultra high-speed national strategy.
Who created it?
MyConnectivity was created by the Ministry of State, through the Department of Media, Connectivity and Digital Policy, together with LU-CIX GIE as a reliable partner with its strategic position of operator of the national Internet peering infrastructure and promoter of the even larger Luxembourg ICT ecosystem.
What are its missions?
The purpose of MyConnectivity G.I.E. is to support access to high-performance connectivity for all, residents and businesses, and to release the socio-economic potential of the information society, in particular by implementing national strategies for 5G and ultra-high speed communication. It intends to further connect the various stakeholders who offer and seek for state-of-the-art connectivity.
MyConnectivity G.I.E. is implementing its strategy through 3 missions:
- forming a center of expertise to facilitate and enable the deployment of fixed and mobile electronic communications infrastructures;
- supporting actors in the field for the deployment of infrastructures;
- informing residents, public and private actors on advanced electronic communications technologies.
